Boise - The capital of Idaho


Boise is the capital and the largest city of Idaho. There live 205707 people. It is also called: The city of trees. The mayor of Boise is David H. Bieter who is 51 years old and is mayor in Boise since 2004 .

The tallest buildings in Boise are the US Bank Plaza (81 meter high), One Capital Center (63 meter high) and the Idaho State Capitol (60 meter high).

The mainly attractions in Boise are the Zoo Boise where live 200 animals, the Bogus Basin ski area which opened in the year 1942, the World Center for Birds of Prey, the Boise Town Square Mall which is the a big shopping attraction and the Bronco Stadium of the Boise State University.
